The Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON) is the national standards body responsible for developing, promoting, and enforcing standards for products and services in Nigeria. Established by Act No. 56 of 1971, SON ensures that products meet quality and safety requirements, conducts product certification, and fights against substandard products in the Nigerian market.
